From the succulents to the Shakespeare Garden. With a wide web of walking and cyclist friendly paths this little central spot is perfect to wander around in all weekend.
Situated adjacent to the botanical gardens this is another firm favourite. Lovely for water spots and fishing enthusiasts. Head south for a stroll with your four‑legged friends in the Emmarentia dog park.
Head out for a walk around the lake, picnic in the shade, refresh your bird-watching skills or hire a paddle boat and take to the water. A blissful way to wind down the day.
A small sanctuary hidden right in plain sight, with multiple walking routes to explore or shady spots to chill out in. There's been a big effort in recent years to revamp it and increase security‑ it’s paid off! Perfect location for an afternoon spent playing board games and picnicking.

Alternatively, pack a blanket and frisbee for a fun afternoon of chilling under the trees. Make sure to keep an eye out for the resident Verreaux eagles that nest in the cliffs close to the waterfall.
