Cape Town
Special spots to visit during your stay at Pineapple House Boutique Hotel. This beautiful suburb is jam-packed with an overwhelming selection of busy eateries and activities. Head out and enjoy these tried and tested spots.
August 2023The suburb's biggest drawn card is the pristine +11km walking route. Contouring the coastline, you can access it from anywhere but I particularly enjoy the strip between the Sea Point Pavillion and the Mandela Glasses landmark to check out the outdoor photographic exhibitions on display along the walls.
A local's favourite all-day hangout. Brekkies, toasted sandwiches, light bites. This small diner has fabulous food and a cool quirky vibe. Plus! At night it turns into Arthur's mini bar with great drinks and deluxe bar snacks. A great all rounder option.
A stunning store with a beautiful collection of carefully curated local goods. Homeware, clothing and accessories that showcase Sea Point's light, yet sophisticated flair. Images sourced from the IG: @mashbtq
This company offers a wide variety of activities in various locations around the Atlantic Seaboard but is best known for its sea-kayaking offering. Giving you the chance to see the city from a whole different point of view and, if you're lucky, get up close and personal with dolphins!
Another quiet little Gem. Arguably the best authentic Chinese Food in the city. Works best if you ask the lady who runs the restaurant to place your order for you- eat what she tells you to and you won't be disappointed.
Join the locals early in the morning for a cold immersion dip in the sea. Or take it easy, pack a picnic and get settled in with a good spot before sunset
Lovely for a light stroll. Family-friendly with lots of space for kiddies to play. Keep an eye out for their great birdlife and, if you're lucky, otters!
A must-visit over a weekend. Heaps of food stalls and local vendors selling high-quality goods.
